Best Wings!
Or so I say every time my mom makes her AWESOME salted baked chicken wings. This day was one of those odd days, where I spent the whole day craving something, almost like the egg and rice situation. So the whole time I was thinking about wings and what can i have to get the satisfaction? Definitely was unable to come up with any replacements during breakfast or lunch. Now here's the twist. I give home a call everyday when I get off work so they know when to expect me for dinner. During the conversation with my mom I asked her, "what's for dinner" and she replied, "chicken wings." It's been so long since I have been that giddy!

Healthy Snack Until the Cheddar
Once in a while there will be a day that you just want to indulge. Well, I'm not a person that watches what I eat since I like anything that is yummy. Snacking is always good in between meals as long as a person don't go all "munching happy". Popcorn is a snack that I used to enjoy a lot but have stopped eating since my addiction to yummy beef jerky. This little bag of popcorn was the first bag that I opened in a very long time. Popcorn and pretzels are both healthier of those corner store goodies but when you get one labeled with "cheddar" you should think again. However, all that matters is that it still as good as I remember and then I wonder why I stopped.

Little Magic Beans
I'm not a caffeine addict but I love the taste of coffee....in every shape or form. From chocolate covered beans to cafe con leche, coffee warms me on wintry days and keeps me cool walking to work. It's a companion when I'm chatting with my sister, my mom or my best friends. It doesn't judge when I'm slamming away on my keyboard in the morning -- replying to the umpteenth email. Those magic little beans make me feel happy and...
I'm lovin' it.

Chicken Soup for the Soul
When someone is feeling under the weather they will look for their own interpretation of "chicken soup" to brighten up the day. This is my chicken soup for the soul. It's literally chicken soup but also with the longan fruit. But what made this cup of soup so special and comforting was because of who made it, my mom. My mom knew that I have been straining my eyes due to the long hours spent in front of the computer so she made this soup to ease my tension.

Presto's
With the day being a bit grim we decided that it will be better to just order in. We ordered four pies from a local pizzaria called Presto's. The Maragarita, Sicilian, Honey Mustard Chicken and the one in the picture, the BBQ Chicken Pizza. Overall it's not bad but after a while it tasted like a fajita with BBQ sauce instead. This is the first time I had a slice with toppings but I will have to say that I'll stick to the plain or one that is simplier.

Intro to a Foodie's Love
Food is not just an essential to our everyday life but it can also brightens our cloudy days. It keeps you going, it's something you can look forward to, it's a good conversation starter and inspires one to explore.
I hope to share my experience of finding the simple joy in the matter of taste from Apples to Zeppoles.
